Jeff Shirley joined the staff at Texas Diabetes and Endocrinology in 2008.  Jeff holds a Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin.  He is an Adult Health Clinical Nurse Specialist and is also a Certified Diabetes Educator.  Jeff sees patients with all types of endocrine concerns but specializes in seeing patients with Type 1 and 2 Diabetes, diabetes in pregnancy, and working with men with low testosterone.  In addition, Jeff is a certified pump trainer.  Prior to coming to Texas Diabetes & Endocrinology, Jeff worked at the University Medical Center at Brackenridge specializing in treating patients dealing with long term complications associated with diabetes.  Jeff is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society, the American Diabetes Association and the Endocrine Society.
