Louie, a native Texan, completed his Masters Degree in Nursing in the summer of 2009, prior to that he was working as an RN in the intensive care unit.  Before entering the nursing field he completed a Masters Degree in Public Health focusing on health education and health promotion.  He has always been interested in helping people achieve optimal health and wellness.  He started with Texas Diabetes and Endocrinology in the summer of 2009, but completed a year-long internship at the office before starting his official employment as a Clinical Nurse Specialist.
