Kerem Ozer, M.D.

Dr. Kerem Ozer graduated from the Istanbul University School of Medicine and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston as a MeRIT scholar. He did his fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson Cancer Center.  Initially as a fellow and later on as a faculty member at Baylor, he did research on developing gene therapy methods for the treatment of diabetes and saw patients and taught residents and fellows at a clinic specializing in complicated cases of diabetes.

Dr. Ozer is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and is certified by the ISCD in osteoporosis testing. He is an active member of the American Medical Association, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, American Diabetes Association, Endocrine Society and the Texas Medical Association. He speaks Spanish and Turkish. As an amateur musician, he enjoys all that the live music capital of the world has to offer.
