Dr. Linda Meyers was raised in Austin and received a B.S in Biochemistry from the University of Texas with High Honors. She stayed in Texas to complete medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She then moved to South Carolina to complete her Internal Medicine Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston. She really enjoyed her time and training at MUSC and so she stayed on as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine for a year prior to entering into her fellowship training at MUSC in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism. After completing fellowship in 2013, she was an Assistant Professor at MUSC for a year while her husband was completing his training in Gastroenterology. Ultimately, she always envisioned returning to Austin to continue her clinical practice and to raise her family. She joined Texas Diabetes & Endocrinology in August of 2014.
Dr. Meyers very much enjoys treating a myriad of Endocrine disorders including bone health/parathyroid health, Pituitary disorders, Thyroid disease including Thyroid cancer, Diabetes care, and hormone therapy especially transgender care.
